Our Story

Snehachhaya Foundation was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to ensure every child in India has access to education, healthcare, and a safe environment to grow and thrive.

Founded over 15 years ago, we started with a small group of dedicated volunteers working in rural communities. What began as a grassroots initiative has grown into a nationwide movement, touching the lives of over 50,000 children across 200+ villages.

Our name, "Snehachhaya," means "shadow of love" in Sanskrit, reflecting our commitment to being a protective, nurturing presence in the lives of vulnerable children.
